FAQs

BOOKING & APPOINTMENTS

When do slots drop?
Appointments are released weekly, every Sunday at 6pm for the upcoming week.

I’m not seeing any slots on the booking site. Do you have any more availability?
All available appointments are shown on the booking site. If there are no slots showing, I’m fully booked for that week. Any cancellations or last-minute availability will be posted on my Instagram Story.

Where are you based?
I’m based in Uxbridge, West London (UB10), within our family salon. Full address details are provided once your appointment is booked.

What days are you open?
Appointments are available Wednesday–Saturday, 10am–5pm.

Appointments requested before 10am or from 5pm onwards are considered out-of-hours and are subject to an additional fee.

Can I book further in advance?
Appointments are generally released one week at a time due to my wider work schedule. If you have an important date or event coming up I.e, a wedding, you’re welcome to get in touch. I may be able to tentatively accommodate your date, but this cannot always be guaranteed until my schedule is confirmed.

I already have BIAB/acrylic/Gel-X on my nails. Can you infill or work over them?
I don’t work over another nail technician’s work. Please arrive with bare nails, unless a soak-off has been added to your appointment for an existing Setgyallery set.

NAIL ART

What are the differences between the nail art tiers?

Minimal Nail Art — Simple but considered designs such as French tips, subtle hand-painted details, stars, animal print, one-colour aura, block chrome or simple abstract designs.

Intermediate Nail Art — More detailed designs incorporating 3D or texture, layered designs, aura with chrome detailing, multicoloured airbrush, lettering or numbers. Up to three different design styles can be combined within one cohesive set.

Complex Nail Art — Highly detailed sets incorporating intricate designs, sculptural/3D elements, textures, mixed techniques or multiple designs across the set.

I’m not sure which nail art tier to book. What should I choose?
You can use the booking nail art guide as a reference. If your desired set includes lots of layering, 3D elements, intricate detailing or multiple different designs, Complex Nail Art will usually be the best fit. If you’re completely unsure, you can email setgyallery@gmail.com or DM @setgyallery on Instagram.

Do I need to know exactly what design I want?
Not at all. References and moodboards are always welcome, but you don’t need to arrive with an exact design in mind. We can use your references as a starting point and develop something within the nail art tier you’ve booked.

Can I bring references that aren’t nails?
Absolutely! Your references don’t have to be nail designs. Fashion, art, objects, textures, colour palettes or anything else you’re drawn to can be used as inspiration for your set.

BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT

How should I prepare for my appointment?
Please arrive with bare, healthy nails free from damage, wounds or infection. If there are signs of any of these, services may unfortunately be refused.

Please also ensure there is no existing product on your nails unless a soak-off has been booked for an existing Setgyallery set.

Where can I find your cancellation, rescheduling and deposit policies?
All appointment policies can be viewed here. Please read these before booking, as placing an appointment confirms your agreement to the policies.
